IPTV on iPhone and iPad: 5-minute setup

Works on any iPhone or iPad with a current iOS. The player comes from the App Store, the playlist from your Utgard TV account. From an iPhone the picture can go to a TV via AirPlay.

What you need

• A Utgard TV account with an active package or the 2-hour trial.
• Your playlist link from the “Playlist” section of your account.

No account yet? Create an account and start the trial: only an email is needed, no card.

Step 1. Copy the playlist link

Open your account in Safari on the iPhone itself, go to “Playlist” and press “Copy link”. The link is now on the clipboard; paste it into the app.

Step 2. Install an app and add the playlist

IPTV Smarters Player

1. Install IPTV Smarters Player from the App Store and open it.
2. Choose login with a playlist link (the M3U URL option), enter any name and paste the link.
3. Press “Add”. Channels appear under Live TV, the TV guide loads by itself.

GSE Smart IPTV

1. Install GSE Smart IPTV, open the side menu and choose “Remote Playlists”.
2. Press “plus”, then “Add M3U URL”, enter a name and paste the link.
3. Open the playlist: channels are sorted by group.

Flex IPTV

A player with a simple interface. In the playlists section press “plus”, choose adding by URL and paste the link from your account.

Step 3. Watching on a TV

Open a channel on the iPhone and tap the AirPlay icon, then pick your TV or Apple TV. For everyday viewing on a big screen it is easier to install the app directly on a Smart TV or a box: the same playlist works everywhere.

Troubleshooting

• One channel, “Subscription not active”. Pay for a package or start the trial and refresh the playlist in the app.
• A channel does not open on mobile data. Some carriers throttle video: check over Wi-Fi.
• The app rejects the link. Make sure the link was pasted in full, including the part after the question mark.
